You will receive a two year on site warranty on your biomass boiler (subject to a payable annual service).
Household waste cannot be burnt in a biomass boiler.
Wood fuel needs to be supplied by a registered supplier - details can be found here.
If you produce your own fuel or have wood waste, you can register as a self-supplier.
Alternatively we can supply all your requirements whether wood pellets, logs or chips.
The cost of wood will vary depending on what you buy and the amounts:
Biomass boilers are ideally suited to large and / or isolated domestic or commercial premises where there is a constant demand for heat such as farms, hotels, schools, churches, swimming pools, hospitals, nursing homes, warehouses etc.
They may also be ideal for landlords who own a number of properties in close proximity to each other.
Any property that has a high heat output is ideal as the more heat required the better the potential RHI return.
Domestic biomass boilers tend to be manually fed so the fuel can be stored in any shed or building as long as it's dry. Larger commercial boilers will be automatically fed and so will require a fuel silo / hopper to be attached to the boiler house.
Although planning permission would not be required for the boiler, it may be needed if you are building a boiler house. The other consideration will be if the boiler is to be installed in a historic building or sensitive location. Please ask if you need advice or check with your local authority.

If correctly sized, log boilers will need firing every morning (possibly twice in exceptionally cold weather).
Pellet boilers with a manual hopper will require fueling every 3-4 days.
Pellet and wood chip boilers are usually fed from a silo / hopper and are refuelled approx. every 4-6 weeks.
We install and service biomass boilers within a 50 mile radius of our showrooms in Denby Dale. This area encompasses Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Nottingham, Harrogate and York.
The relatively small area means we are able to offer the best possible after sales service.
The biomass boilers we provide use wood for fuel in either log, pellet or chip form.
Generally the wood should be untreated and dry. It is also important that wood pellets are of premium quality e.g. Din Plus standard.
Your own plumber can connect your existing heating circuits to the boiler, however we install the boiler in your boiler room as we have been specifically trained on the installation of biomass boiler systems, and can provide you with the training needed to operate the system too.
Some biomass boilers need emptying every few weeks, however some pellet boilers only require emptying once a year.
We make the the Governments Renewable Heat Incentive easier to understand, and include some example senarios and figures.
